10 november 1967 - HENDRIX GUITAR LEGEND OCCURS IN ROTTERDAM

Rotterdam – Guitar legend Jimi Hendrix performs at the Happy Hippy fair in Rotterdam. Zo’n 2.500 teenagers are in action. Hendrix just becoming popular in Netherlands, by fair organizer Wim van Krimpen for 12.000 met guilder to Rotterdam.

10 november 1970 - SEND FAILED TO PIRATE NOORDWIJK

Noordwijk – On the beach of Noordwijk aground pirate radio ship King David of Capitol Radio. For the brand new radio station is a new depth point in the nascent existence. Earlier there had been a serious accident happened and was placed on board the ship during repairs once already almost on the chain. During a heavy storm on the night of 9 op 10 November saves the ship from its anchors and sails right off the coast. The following days will have many viewers in Noordwijk, but the ship is heavily guarded by police.

10 november 1986 - WHALE TO RINSE FOR MAASVLAKTE

Rotterdam – On the beach at Maasvlakte washes a whale on. The nine meter long fish was landed by bad weather in shallow waters and could eventually be saved. Sperm whales sometimes wash ashore, the Dutch coast, but Fin whales are exceptional. Police and Public Works do not know what the beast and must be controlled by Zoo at the Natural History Museum in Leiden. They want the animal, to set up in the museum, if it is off 1991.

10 november 2004 - ANTI-TERROR RAID IN HAGUE LAAKKWARTIER

Den Haag – The police raid on a number of terrorist suspects in the Laakkwartier. Upon entry into the house to the Antheunisstraat there appears to go off a booby trap and a hand grenade is thrown from the housing. Three cops injured, houses nearby are evacuated. Ruim 12 hours later, the house raided. Two people (Ismail A. by Jason W. the Hofstad) are arrested.
