19 april 1950 – FIRST FLASHING LIGHT FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN RIJSWIJK Rijswijk – At the intersection of Haagweg – Herenstraat – Geestbrugweg will be the first "Flashing light’ from the Netherlands. These are traffic lights that warn car traffic at night about the dangerous intersection. The first motorists do not understand much yet, because they stop at the traffic light, but it is not necessary. The ANWB had worked hard to install these flashing lights. There are also plans for this kind of traffic lights elsewhere in our country. share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Related Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName Email Website Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
