The students wanted a Japanese record's April break, but later found that this record was not recognized. 27 december 1970 - OIL MASH THREATENS THE BIESBOSCH Geertruidenberg - From an oil tank at the Amer Power Plant (Geertruidenberg) flows 8 million liters of heavy fuel oil into the river Amer. The oil gets into the nature reserve Biesbosch. Cleaning up the oil is a huge and difficult task. It lasts until mid-February before all the oil is cleaned up. Meanwhile, thousands of birds deceased. 27 december 2014 - HAGUE ROCKBAND KANE STOPS WITH IT Den Haag – The Hague Kane rock band announced that they will stop. The band was 16 years active. Singer Woesthoff (uit Gorinchem) had earlier announced that he quietly went to do a year, but let him know that he has no need to make a new album to record or performances. The band broke through in 1999 met de hit Where Do I Go Now.
