04 januari 2011 – COEN MOULIJN Died Rotterdam – Feyenoord figurehead Coen Moulijn dies. The left winger played 487 matches for Feyenoord and also won the European Cup I with the club in 1970. Loved by fans and former teammates, he is praised for his football skills and his friendly disposition. That is what director Van Leeuwen says in his New Year's speech. It is not entirely new, because there are female tram drivers driving around. 04 januari 1984 – Riot in Moluccan DISTRICT Capelle aan den IJssel - Groups of Moluccan youths in the Capelse district of Oostgaarde are confronted with the Mobile Unit. Someone is even shot during the confrontation. The reason for the riots is an expulsion of a Moluccan family, due to rent arrears. read more: Riot police clashed with touches Capelse Moluccan 04 januari 1996 - FAREWELL FROM OLD RMS PRESIDENT MANUSAMA Capelle aan den IJssel – Many thousands of Moluccans come to the Saint Paul's Church in Capelle aan den IJssel to pay their last respects to Johan Manusama. He was from 1966 tot 1993 president-in-exile of the RMS. He lived in Rotterdam for much of his life and worked as a vice principal at the Melanchton in Rotterdam.
