03 maart 1945 – BOMBARDING ON BEZUIDEN WOOD; 550 KILL

Den Haag – Allies bomb the Bezuidenhout district of The Hague. The bombs were intended for the Haagse Bos (where German missile installations were set up), but fall into the residential area. There will be plenty 550 mensen om (not much less than during the bombing of Rotterdam 1940). It later emerged that the British Air Force had received incorrect information.

03 maart 1968 - BOMB ATTACKS AT HAGUE EMBASSIES

Den Haag - In the night of Saturday 2 March on Sunday 3 March there are with the Spanish, Greek and Portuguese embassies bombs went off. Rotterdam – The municipal elections in Rotterdam yield a special result; the two rivals Liveable and Labor Party barely differ from each other and end up 14 seats. In addition, "irregularities" are found at some polling stations, with several people in a voting booth and wrong counts. There will be a recount and nothing will change; the Labor Party narrowly wins.

03 maart 2010 - PVV MAKES DENDERING ENTRANCE IN THE HAGUE MUNICIPALITY

Den Haag – Geert Wilders' PVV participates for the first time in the municipal elections in The Hague and comes from nowhere to eight seats. The expected loss of the Labor Party remains limited (van 15 naar 10). The PVV only participates in Almere and The Hague. Especially in Scheveningen, Rustenburg and Loosduinen did the PVV well.
